Marlon Math is a director, writer and film composer born in Miami, Florida.

He graduated in animation from Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. He is drawn to the stylized and the magical, and to powerful images that reach the viewer.

Marlon works intuitively. He trusts the strong images he creates and builds the film around it, looking for pictures that stay with the viewer after the screen goes dark.

Because he also composes, sound and image grow together in his mind for his projects from the very beginning instead of meeting in post-production. In seiner Gnade, a film for which he composed the score, was nominated for a Student Academy Award.

Currently based in Berlin, he travels throughout Germany and abroad directing corporate films for a major British production company that produces worldwide. Alongside this, he develops his own films.
